It is pleasing to see that many of our members have picked up a voucher from reception for a free coffee from the café at the Hub. If you have not done so yet, feel free to come by Reception and pick up a voucher. Remember strictly one voucher per member. Vouchers are valid until the end of Term 2.

This is the start of Volunteers Week 2025 – a time to acknowledge all the volunteers who make this great organisation what it is.

Guess the lollies for Thornburn Ladies Badminton Association’s Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday 22 May, 2025 – funds raised go to cancer research

Now we’re into Term 2 things have settled down a bit and we hope you have found at least one class to attend. This month we are appreciating all our volunteers, and reminding you about name badges, apologies and waitlists. There are also a few new classes starting this term and Term 3 you may be interested in.

The “Guess How Many Lollies” competition above is part of the Thornburn Ladies Badminton Association’s Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday 22 May at the Hub. Come along and support their fundraising for cancer research.

We were delighted to host our second Orientation Gathering of the year on 30 April to welcome our new members for Term 2.

These gatherings are a great opportunity for new members to connect, get to know one another, and share their experiences. They also provide a chance to ask questions and clarify any uncertainties.
