As you are reading this newsletter you will be on term and Easter break for a couple of weeks. Enjoy your time away from U3A and, hopefully, many of you will be able to catch up with family and friends.
The “Have a Coffee on Us” promotion has been running for around four weeks and members who read the last newsletter have been able to enjoy a hot drink at the Hub café for FREE. If you would like a voucher, just pop over to the reception desk next term and ask for one. This promotion is strictly one voucher per member.
Harmony Day
Congratulations to Paulina Chong and her Events team for organising Harmony Day on Friday 21 March and to the Social Committee members for their help and organisation skills.
There was certainly an enthusiastic vibe in the place with many members dressing in traditional costumes, bringing many different and exciting traditional foods to be sampled, and performing traditional dance and music routines.
Sausage Sizzle
Congratulations to Bronwyn Hughes and her Social Committee for putting on a very popular Sausage Sizzle on the last day of Term 1. The attendance was huge and it was great to see members socialising in such a relaxed atmosphere.
