Yes, we know car parks are hard to find! It would be great if there was unlimited parking in the Esdale St carpark but that is not the case. Please have patience, especially in the first weeks of Term 1. Patience and consideration make everyone’s life easier.
Here are a few hints on car parking:
- Follow the signage in the Esdale St carpark – going the wrong way or blocking the roadway makes it even more difficult for everyone.
- Make sure you allow Meals on Wheels traffic to enter and exit along the one-way section.
- Try parking in nearby streets – Luckie St, and in the streets opposite the Hub. You can then use the lights to cross safely.
- Do not park in the car park off Springvale Road unless you have a permit to do so.
- Be aware of the time limits – both car parks and the surrounding streets that have limited parking restrictions will be closely monitored by the parking inspectors.
Remember to take all your valuables with you. Keys, wallets and other valuables in your car may be stolen by those on the lookout for any opportunity. It has happened!
