Dear Members,

We would like to inform you of a change to parking conditions at the Nunawading Community Hub that will be implemented in the coming weeks.

To improve access for community members and provide a safer, more convenient area for passenger drop-off and pick-up, the existing No Stopping zone will be changed to a No Parking zone. Located directly behind the Meals on Wheels designated spots, this change allows vehicles to stop for two minutes in that area if:

  • You are picking up or dropping off passengers or goods.
  • You stay within three metres of your vehicle.

We would also like to remind all visitors that the Meals on Wheels parking bays remain reserved exclusively for authorised Meals on Wheels vehicles. These spaces are essential for supporting the service and should not be used by other visitors during the signed designated hours.

Council will install the new signage in the coming weeks, and parking enforcement will continue to occur within the Nunawading Community Hub car park.

To avoid the risk of receiving a parking infringement, please ensure that you observe and comply with all parking signage displayed throughout the car park.

Thank you for your support as we make these positive changes to better serve our community and enhance the experience for all Hub users.

Yours sincerely

Felicia Galanis
Community Facilities Coordinator
