Yesterday U3A Nunawading held our 30th AGM and our first via Zoom. We were at full capacity with 100 participants joining us. Please note that our Annual report for 2019/2020 is on our website
Our new Committee of Management members for the next 12 months are:
President: Liz Hooper
Vice Presidents: Valerie Donlon and Andrew Gee
Secretary: Colin Carter
Treasurer: Pauline Wang
Committee Members: Frank Baseden, Paulina Chong, Athalie Edis, Lindsay Glen, Terry Hart, Andrew Lockwood, June MacDonald, Elsie Mutton, Judith Palmer and Lorraine Sterling.

Lorraine Sterling was made a Life Member, particularly for her four-year term as Secretary, but also as Summer School Convenor for many years, a role she is continuing in 2021.
We farewelled David Patston, whose work with the Office Volunteers was greatly appreciated.
Leo Sargent, who has served on the Committee of Management for 19 years, including four years as President and four years as Secretary, also stepped down. He will be sorely missed in the office, but we are pleased that he has agreed to be co-opted to our Committee to mentor new members.
The Committee of Management, in accordance with the recently released COVID plan for Melbourne, has cancelled all face-to-face classes for term 4 2020. If there are opportunities to hold tours through the new Nunawading Community Hub for small groups, we will certainly do so. Meanwhile you may want to check out this link: https://www.whitehorse.vic.gov.au/nunawading-community-hub
Membership fee for 2021 for current members will be $60, and $75 for new members.

Take care of yourselves over the next couple of months as hopefully COVID restrictions begin to ease. Keep checking your emails for our regular Updates, which will let you know when we can see one another again.
Meanwhile enjoy your Zoom classes.
Liz Hooper, President
