Another successful New Members morning tea was held on Wednesday 31 July, with 15 new members attending on a cold and foggy morning to enjoy a warm welcome. See the photos from the event.

President Gary Walker spoke about U3A membership, classes, volunteering opportunities, and the facilities at the Hub. Course Administrator Elsie Mutton OAM also spoke at the gathering explaining the use of the blue and orange forms, online apologies and the waiting list system.

These gatherings are a good opportunity for new members to meet members of the committee and to share experiences. Everyone enjoyed themselves and felt very welcomed, with some new friendships being formed.

A big thank you to the committee members who served coffee, tea and cake and spoke with the new members sharing their experiences of attending classes at U3A Nunawading.
