Face masks can make communication difficult

The University of Melbourne is conducting research into the impact of the wearing of face masks on spoken communication and what helps to make communication easier.

The researchers are inviting any adult, with or without hearing difficulties, to take their online survey: University of Melbourne survey – Impact of face masks on communication

The project is being overseen by Karyn Galvin PhD, AAudA, Associate Professor and Graduate Research Co-ordinator, Department of Audiology & Speech Pathology, Director of Research, Melbourne School of Health Sciences.
