October is a month of fun and festivities with the Seniors and Spring Festivals providing lots to see and do. It’s a chance to learn, laugh and enjoy some excellent entertainment.
Celebrations for Seniors
There will be a wide range of events and activities, locally and throughout the state, during October for the Victorian Seniors Festival. Plus, it’s a good time to plan a day trip or short holiday with eight days of free public transport for Victorian Seniors Card holders from 1 to 8 October 2023.
Whitehorse City Council will host a day of entertainment on Sunday 1 October at The Round, behind the City of Whitehorse Offices, Whitehorse Road, Nunawading from 10 am to 4 pm. U3A members from various classes will be showcasing their skills and talent with displays and performances during the day. Drop by and show your support.
Seniors Month is designed to bring seniors together to enjoy themselves, learn new skills and make new friends. Spring Festival – a great day for the whole family
Don’t miss the Whitehorse 2023 Spring Festival on Sunday 15 October from 10 am to 4 pm at the Whitehorse Civic Centre Precinct, Nunawading. With fun activities, musical performances and over 50 stalls, there will be plenty of entertainment for people of all ages. U3A Nunawading will also have a marquee there to promote the organisation’s services.
This is a free event and is a great way to learn about the Whitehorse community.
