I hope you are all feeling a little more positive now that the number of new COVID cases is falling, and restrictions are beginning to ease.
The Committee of Management met this week (pictured on Zoom) and made a number of decisions with respect to enrolment for next year and Summer School.
- Enrolment for 2021 classes will open to current members on Thursday 21 January 2021 instead of at the end of next month.
- Summer School dates are Tuesday 12, Wednesday 13, Thursday 14, and Monday 18, Tuesday 19, and Wednesday 20 January 2021.
- Term 1 will begin on Monday 8 February 2021, a week later than usual.
The Summer School timetable will be available to view on our website from 9 November, and enrolments for those classes will open on 7 December. We will roll over your membership till 14 January so that you do not need to pay before enrolling in Summer School classes.
Enrolment for 2021 classes is being delayed until January to give us the clearest indication of how we will be able to run classes at the Hub, based on the government’s Covid restrictions in place at the time.
We will be communicating details of how to enrol over the coming months and will be offering training via Zoom on how to enrol online. All information will also be posted on our website u3anunawading.org.au.
Thank you to the 750 members who have already responded to our survey. We are receiving valuable information for our strategic planning purposes. For those of you who have not yet filled in this survey, please take a few minutes to do so. It will be of great benefit to have as many responses as possible.
