Whitehorse Spring Festival is a major event on our calendar. Thanks to all the performers and their leaders. The fun continued with the Melbourne Cup Eve social function. Thanks to Paulina Chong for organising both. See the photos and reports on these events in this newsletter.
Get ready for 2024
Enrolments for members will commence on Monday 27 November and the quickest and most efficient way to enrol will be online. Please read the details in this newsletter carefully so you are aware of the process by enrolment date.
Thanks to the Enrolment Planning Sub-Committee for all their work in preparation for our enrolments for 2024.
Coffee & Cake
For those members doing classes on Thursday 16 November, please pop along to the dining area between 10 am and 12.30 pm for Coffee & Cake which has been organised by the Social Committee.
Spring Festival
Whitehorse Spring Festival was held in the Whitehorse Civic Centre Precinct on Sunday 15 October , and once again, U3A Nunawading had some magnificent art displays, as well as our Dance classes, Choir and the Swing band performing to their usual high standards. We also had a marquee to inform the public of activities available at U3A Nunawading. A huge thank you to Paulina Chong for organising such a successful day.
Summer School
Organisation of Summer School 2024 is complete, and Convenor Athalie Edis and her sub-committee have planned interesting classes and excursions to kick off the new year. As usual, there will be something for everyone.
Cup Eve
The Social Committee once again organised a Cup Eve function on Monday 6 November which was attended by around 75 members and friends. Fashions on the field and a mock Cup race were among the many highlights of the day. Thank you to our Social Coordinator Paulina Chong and her hard-working Social Committee for organising a great day.
Until next time…
