After a year of stops and starts for our nearly 100 Reception Desk Volunteers it was great to see so many of them gathered together on Tuesday 7 December for morning tea.
Around 60 volunteers including members of the Committee of Management enjoyed the relaxed social event at the Hub that rounded off the year for our friendly crew.
President Liz Hooper and Reception Desk Volunteer Co-ordinator Judith Palmer took the opportunity to thank the volunteers for their contribution to the efficient operation of our U3A and for providing the welcoming atmosphere we are known for.
Many of the volunteers hadn’t crossed paths for months due to lockdowns and were delighted to catch up as shown by the many smiling faces in these photos.
Catering was provided in separate boxes for each guest by Smart Brown Catering who have responded so well to operating in a COVID-safe way.
