It might be cold now, but spring is just around the corner and July Snippets is coming into bud with spring activities. Keep your diary free for our Spring Celebration, enjoy our garden’s blooms and get ideas for your garden at a camelia show. In line with the season of growth, our “Appy” Hour team is growing so watch out for changed times.
Spring Celebration lunch
Let’s shake off the winter blues and welcome Spring by celebrating with food, drinks and the good company of friends and colleagues at the Mulgrave Country Club, hosted by the U3A Social Committee.
Date: Wednesday, 24 September 2025
Time: 12 pm for 12:15pm start
Cost: $40 per person, no refunds

“Appy” Hour is growing
“Appy” Hour is a free session where you can get one-on-one assistance with your technical problems. Book your half-hour session at Reception and take your ticket to remind you of the day and time of your slot. Currently the times are:
• Tuesday 12 – 1 pm (Apple devices, Mac computers, Windows computers)
• Wednesday 1 – 2 pm (Apple devices, Mac computers, Windows computers)
• Friday 1:30 – 2 pm (Windows, Linux and Apple computers, Android and Apple devices).
Keep an eye out for changes. We have more volunteers offering to provide help.
Enjoying our garden
Our wonderful garden continues to provide delights even in this cold weather. If you were lucky enough to be in the lunch area on Friday 25 July, you could have received a bunch of spinach or a potted viola to enjoy.

Do you love gardening? Do you want to know what camellias you have, buy a camellia plant or two, enter the free camellia-themed photography competition, or just admire the wonderful array of camellia blooms available? Then the Camellias Victoria Annual Show is for you.
