The Social Committee hosted a successful gathering to end Term 1 and they have more exciting events to look forward to in Term 2. Check out the details below for members to meet for coffee and cake and Christmas in July.
An ‘eggs’ellent celebration
Cheery chatter echoed throughout the social space of the Nunawading Community Hub as members enjoyed a cuppa, hot cross buns and Easter eggs to celebrate the end of the first full term at the new complex.
The Hub’s wonderful amenities make it easy for members to say hello to old and new friends. In fact, around six hundred members took advantage of the chance to relax and connect with each other on Tuesday 5 April and Friday 8 April between 10am and 2pm as you can see in the photo gallery.
Many thanks to the hard work of the Social Committee who kept the kettle hot and the goodies flowing.
Coffee and cake
All are welcome to stop by for a coffee and cake get-together on Monday 20 June and Wednesday 22 June (last week of term two) between 10am and 2pm in the Hub social space on level one.
Christmas in July
A Christmas in July lunch will be held at the Hub in the holidays on Tuesday 5 July. It will be a traditional two-course hot lunch with all the trimmings, soft drink provided and BYO alcohol. Tickets will be $40pp and will go on sale at reception on Monday 30 May.
