Morning tea was organised on 4 and 6 April to welcome new 2023 members to U3A. It was a wonderful opportunity for our new members to meet and greet each other over a cuppa and some cake.
Members again enjoyed the opportunity of participating in two hot cross bun morning teas in the last week of Term 1. See the photo gallery for pictures of the events.
A record 95 members attended the April Four o’clock Forum about aged care planning and bookings are strong for the May forum, ‘Philosophy Begins in Wonder’. With only a few remaining seats available, members are advised to enrol now.
Last Thursday, 4 May, was World Password Day.

Highlights for our May edition of Snippets includes two social activities – Ten Pin Bowling and Christmas in July; interesting reports from our Geology class and Draw and Write Your Own Story class; a snap shot of some overseas visitors; two research studies seeking participants; a heads up for National Volunteers Week and a call-out for member contributions.
