Before Christmas we advised that Avis and Budget are offering members of U3A Nunawading a 10 per cent discount when booking a hire car and you can still take advantage of these savings. Members interested in taking up this offer need to contact the Course Administrator via to get the booking instructions for each car hire company. At that time, they will be given the code that enables the discount to be applied. A credit card is required when picking up the car.

The University of South Australia is currently developing and testing a user-friendly tool to assist health practitioners in identifying and monitoring medication side effects, with the ultimate aim of improving medication safety. Approved by the University of South Australia’s Human Ethics Committee, the study needs volunteer participants to complete two surveys (takes about 15 minutes to complete each) completed four weeks apart. For more details see the Participant Information Sheet.
