From the Course Admin team

Our garden is already looking like spring.

As Ken and I follow up classes for 2026, the rest of the Course Admin team are busy dealing with the day-to-day work of making sure withdrawals, apologies etc are all up-to-date. If we seem a little distracted, please bear with us as we try to make changes as requested by Class Leaders, and accommodate new classes for 2026.

Read on for a reminder about mobile phones, some new classes in Term 4 and a special event in the term break.

Mobile phones and smart watches

We have been asked to remind members to please turn your mobile phone to aeroplane mode or off whilst in class. This also applies to your smart watch, which alerts you to any calls coming through. Many a class is being interrupted by the light coming on and members then looking at the phone or smartwatch and often taking the time to send a message. It is rude not only to the Class Leader but also to other members of the class.

This also applies to members who continue to “google” for information whilst in class. Leave this to later.
