We are looking forward to welcoming over 2100 members and over 180 leaders to the huge range of continuing and new courses when Term 1 commences on Monday 6 February. The first week of term will be extremely busy, so please be patient with queries, changes, and requests for assistance.
Name badges
If you need a name badge, please ask at the front desk when you next come into the Hub. You will be advised when the badge will be ready for collection – it may take a day or two if we are busy. Once you have your name badge, be sure to wear it whenever you are in the Hub building or attending a class at another venue.
Wait lists and acceptances
Most of our classes have wait lists, and you may be on the wait list for one or more classes. You must not attend a class unless you have been advised of acceptance. If a place becomes available, and we are able to offer you a place, you will receive an email from Course Admin. If you arrive for a class, and are not on the attendance list, do not just “sit in” on the class, but come straight to the Course Admin office so that we can check your enrolments with you.
Note that you can check your own enrolments any time by logging into the website at https://u3anunawading.org.au/members/login , and clicking on “My Enrolments” at the left of the screen. Enrolments you have been accepted in will appear first, followed by any Waitlist Enrolments. You may also request Withdrawal from a class in this section. Alternatively, request a list of your enrolments from Course Admin.
Absences
If you will be absent from classes for more than two weeks, please submit a blue “Extended Absence” form, or email , so that we can mark your apology on the Attendance sheets.
Walks leader wanted
There are currently 25 people on the wait lists for our two Wednesday Walking groups. The groups are full and unlikely to be able to take any extra members. We would love to start another group, whether on Wednesday or another day. Walks are two hours maximum, starting at 9:30 am or 10 am in summer, and 10 am in winter. We can provide a large list of walks from which you can choose your own program, and we can also supply parking maps. You just need to check out each walk then lead a friendly group, with optional coffee afterwards. If you, or anyone you know, would consider leading this extra group, please contact Ken or Elsie in Course Admin or speak to Ken about what is involved for more information.
Yoga leader wanted
Due to the high demand of members wishing to learn the techniques and benefits of Yoga, we need another Yoga Leader. If you are qualified and interested in sharing your skill with others, or you know of someone who is, please contact Elsie via the Course Administrator email:
