Enrolment for next year’s classes, including Summer School, will open for 2021 members on Monday 29 November. Enrolment for all others will open on Wednesday 1 December.
All courses will be visible on our website from 15 November but you will not be able to enrol until the relevant date above.
As announced in our previous Update we are running three special Christmas Workshops for members who would like to try their hand at making their own Christmas cards, decorations or gifts.
Summer School program has now been finalised and it will feature an exciting range of lectures, demonstrations, workshops, exercise and music sessions as well as excursions run over nine days in January.
Thanks to our Class Leaders who ran sessions as part of October’s Whitehorse Seniors Festival. Back in August when we discussed how U3A Nunawading might participate, we took the decision to offer escorted tours of our activities at the Hub, as well as online classes via Zoom.
U3A Online is inviting you to a series of free talks as part of their participation in Get Online Week 2021.
They will be presenting a number of talks from some of their course leaders via their Facebook page. For members who do not use Facebook the talks will be available through Zoom.
Whitehorse Council has advised us that scammers have been calling residents claiming they were doing a five question survey on behalf of the Whitehorse Council. The questions they have asked include “How much do you earn”, “Do you live on your own”, etc.
