Christmas concert

Our 2025 End-of-Year Concert was yet again a wonderful showcase for the talents or our members, with an emphasis on music making.

Twelve groups performed over the day, with the Silver Grove Swing Band giving a stirring performance to begin the concert. Guitarists and ukulele and keyboard players of all levels showed their skills and there were tuneful renditions from the Choir and Joy of Singing classes. Line dancers and Rock n Rollers brought colourful movement to the concert as well.

President’s Report

Gary Walker and Ken Briscoe check the class lists for 2026

There’s much to celebrate this month, with Terry Hart being honoured with a COTA Victoria Senior Achiever Award and our U3A being well represented at the Whitehorse Spring Festival. We are also offering quality U3A Nunawading polo shirts to our members for a subsidised price.

Once again the Hub is busy with classes celebrating the end-of-year, and enjoying the many friendships made whilst attending U3A.

Christmas has come early to the Hub and we are the proud owners of a new gleaming white Christmas Tree located on Level 1. The tree is once again decorated by members of the Paper Craft class led by the talented Kitty Wong. Take the time to have a look at their amazing work.
