National Volunteer Week (NVW) is on 16 – 22 May 2022. The theme for National Volunteer Week 2022 is Better Together.

Many of you may have noticed groups of us enjoying a tasty lunch in the Hub foyer over the past couple of weeks. Duty Committee Members (Valerie, Frank, Colin, June, Gary, Athalie, Judith, Marlene, Terry and myself) were hosting our valued teams of Reception Desk Volunteers as a way of thanking them for the work they do for U3A Nunawading. The service they provide enables us to be far more responsive to our 2,000+ members than we could ever do without them.

– For your convenience, you can now request to withdraw from any of your classes online instead of having to do it at the office.

– Unfortunately, we have received a number of reports recently from members who have tested positive to Covid-19. Please do not come to the Hub if you are feeling at all unwell even if you haven’t had a positive test result.
