Key information for 2026 enrolments

These are the key dates you need to know for next year’s enrolment:

– You will be able to VIEW next year’s courses online from Monday 10 November
– Printed copies of the 2026 Course Guide, including Terms 1 and 2 Computer classes and 2026 Summer School Guide, will be available for collection from the Hub from Monday 10 November
– Enrolment for current members opens on Monday 24 November
– Enrolment for new members opens on Wednesday 26 November.

Seniors Festival – Celebrate with us!

Grand Opening of the Whitehorse Seniors Festival & U3A Nunawading’s 35th Anniversary

This year, our Seniors Festival celebration is extra special! Not only are we hosting the Grand Opening of the 2025 Whitehorse Seniors Festival, but we’re also marking 35 wonderful years of U3A Nunawading.

The Grand Opening will be held on Wednesday 1 October from 10 am – 3 pm at the Nunawading Community Hub. The program for the day will showcase a wide variety of activities, demonstrations, and exhibitions spread across different rooms of the Hub — something for everyone to enjoy! Our September Snippets springs into a diverse range of activities including an Indigenous art exhibition; positive ageing sessions; Monash University’s FODMAP diet lecture; Dementia Action Week and the local school holiday program, plus there is a Women’s Weekly story featuring three of our members.

Potter Museum trip in pictures

In late August, the Thursday Art Appreciation class visited the Potter Museum of Art at the University of Melbourne to be overwhelmed by the more than 400 works on display, including artworks and cultural objects from the University’s collections, loans from private and public lenders and new commissions.

65,000 Years: A short history of Australian art celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art while confronting our nation’s colonial history and the importance of Indigenous knowledge and agency. The exhibition, which finishes on 22 November, is free and easily accessed by public transport.
