Term 2 is now drawing to a close. Term 2 is now drawing to a close. We have quite a few new courses starting up in Terms 3 and 4 – some are listed at the bottom of this article while you will find Term 3 and 4 computer classes in a separate article in this newsletter. If you want to know whether there is room in a class, we now have a “spare” computer at reception where you can check for yourself – read on for details.

We are fast approaching the end of Term 1, which has been a busy time for our terrific leaders with all the new and returning courses, and for all our members. Judging by the buzz at the Hub, I think everyone is enjoying their classes and the opportunity to socialise. Term 2 is not far away now, and brings with it quite a few new courses – see below for more details.

A reminder that Term 1 finishes on Thursday 28 March (not Friday), and Term 2 begins on Monday 15 April after a two-week break.

Welcome back to classes for Term 1!

Term 1 started off with a real bang, with the Hub once again full of members going to and from classes, chatting, finding their way around, and settling into their 2024 classes. A very hectic week for the Course Admin Team (Elsie, Ken, Mai, Cynthia, and new member Ian), and for the Reception Desk volunteers who did a terrific job handling hundreds of queries.

To make enrolling in 2024 classes easier for you, make sure you know your membership number (located on your name badge – yes, the one you wear whenever you come to the Hub) and your password.
